Collages Fairy Tales

Die Papiercollagen sind im DIN A5 Format und für ein Projekt der Ashazamis Group. Cynthia hat alte Buchdrucke, dessen Motive bei diesem Tausch alle verwenden. Ich habe die Bilder auf Photopapier ausgedruckt und coloriert. Das Thema meiner Collagen sind Märchen. Wir wollen aus den gleichgroßen Collagen Bücher machen.
These paper collages are in DIN A5 size. I have made them for an Ashazamis group project. Cynthia had these old book plates. And we all decided to use these motifs for this swap. I have printed them on photo paper and gave them color. My collages have the themes of fairy tales. We have the plan to make books from the resulting pages from all.

Fabric Collage "Chamäleon"

Diese textile Collage ist für Johanna. Sie ist ca. 25 x 40 cm groß. Die Wollfäden und Fasern sind mit Soluvlies zusammengenäht. Der Hintergrundstoff, die Borten und Bordüren sind selbstgefärbt. Das Chamäleon ist ein Ausdruck mit meinem Tintenstrahldrucker auf Stoff.
Ein Photo ist mit Blitz und eines im Tageslicht, aber das Original ist nicht richtig einzufangen im Photo.
I have made this collage for Johanna. The size is 25 x 40 cm. The fibres are sewn together with soluweb. The fabric and the laces are dyed with silk paint. The chameleon is a print on cotton I have made with my printer.

Berlin Inner City Aquatic Life

Ich arbeite zur Zeit an einer Serie von Taschen aus bemalten Segeltuch. Inspiriert hat mich dazu Alisa Burke .
Graffitis gehören stark zum Stadtbild von Berlin, genauso wie ein ganz spezielles Gefühl, wenn man sich unter den vielen geschäftigen Menschen hier bewegt oder sie beobachtet. Dieses Gefühl hat mich zu dem Titel der Serie geführt: Berlin Inner City Aquatic Life.
Die Handtaschen sind alle nach eigenen Schnitten genäht und jede erhält eine fortlaufende Nummer. Ich biete sie in meinem daWanda Shop zum Verkauf an.
I am making an edition of hand-bags and purses from acrylics painted canvas. I am inspired by the things from Alisa Burke .
You can see graffitis everywhere here in Berlin. And there is always a special feeling when you move between all the busy people or make your "observations". This gave me the title for my edition: Berlin Inner City Aquatic Life.
All hand-bags are sewn with own designed patterns and each will get a series number. I am selling them in my daWanda Shop .

ich habe einige Baumwollstoffe, Bordüren und Spitze gefärbt. Dazu habe ich Seidenmalfarbe von JAVANA verwendet, die man durch Bügeln fixiert.
I have dyed some fabrics and ribbons. I have used silk paint from JAVANA for heat set by ironing.

Unter die Haube gebracht...

....sind nun Drucker und Nähmaschine. Ein passendes Nadelkissen und einige Stoffreste-Mäuse sind auch noch entstanden.
I have sewn a cover for the printer and for my sewing machine. And a pin cushion and some mice made from fabric scraps.

The letter

Ich mag die Poststempel auf Briefen immer so gerne, besonders wenn die Post aus aller Welt kommt. Das macht den Brief von außen dann schon spannend.
I always like the postal stamps on letters. Especially when the letters come from all over the world. They make me curious just from the outside of the letter.

Heute habe ich weitere Briefmarkenbögen bearbeitet. Hier zum Beispiel erst mit wasservermalbaren Kreiden kunterbunte Muster gemalt und dann bestempelt und beklebt.
Today I have made some more faux stamps. These here are made by coloring with watersoluble crayons. Then stamping and glueing some images on.
