ich habe einige Baumwollstoffe, Bordüren und Spitze gefärbt. Dazu habe ich Seidenmalfarbe von JAVANA verwendet, die man durch Bügeln fixiert.
I have dyed some fabrics and ribbons. I have used silk paint from JAVANA for heat set by ironing.

Unter die Haube gebracht...

....sind nun Drucker und Nähmaschine. Ein passendes Nadelkissen und einige Stoffreste-Mäuse sind auch noch entstanden.
I have sewn a cover for the printer and for my sewing machine. And a pin cushion and some mice made from fabric scraps.

The letter

Ich mag die Poststempel auf Briefen immer so gerne, besonders wenn die Post aus aller Welt kommt. Das macht den Brief von außen dann schon spannend.
I always like the postal stamps on letters. Especially when the letters come from all over the world. They make me curious just from the outside of the letter.

Heute habe ich weitere Briefmarkenbögen bearbeitet. Hier zum Beispiel erst mit wasservermalbaren Kreiden kunterbunte Muster gemalt und dann bestempelt und beklebt.
Today I have made some more faux stamps. These here are made by coloring with watersoluble crayons. Then stamping and glueing some images on.

Fabric Collage "Heed the Ancients"

Da die Stoffcollage heute bei Sandra eingetroffen ist, kann ich sie ja nun endlich auch auf dem Blog zeigen. Ich habe den Stoff im Hintergrund mit Acrylfarbe bestempelt und bemalt. Das Bild ist ein Transfer auf Stoff mit Golden Gelmedium matt. Ich bin selbst ganz erstaunt, daß der Transfer so gut geworden ist :-)
Sandra has received her fabric collage today, so that I can show it now. The cotton is stamped and painted with acrylics. The image is a transfer with Golden gelmedium. I am surprised that it came out so brilliant :-)

Altered Postcards

Ich habe mal wieder Postkarten bearbeitet: mit Schleifpapier das Motiv abgeschrubbelt, mit Gesso und Acrylfarbe einen Neuanstrich gemacht, bestempelt und Bilder aufgeklebt.
I like to alter postcards. First step is to rub off some of the original postcard picture with abrasive paper. Then I make one layer of gesso and add acrylics. I stamp it with my favourite rubberstamps and glue some collage pictures onto the postcard.
