Dieses Objektträgermäppchen habe ich eingefärbt mit Adirondack Color Wash, bestempelt mit Ornamenten von Stempelmine und die Hinterglascollagen sind mit alten Weihnachtsmann-Oblaten und Dresdner Papierbordüren gemacht. Das Mäppchen passt wunderbar zum dieswöchigen Thema vom Thank God its Friday Challenge .

Theme Thursday : Circus

Dieses ATC ist mein Beitrag zu Theme Thursday mit dem Thema : Circus . Die Motive sind von Collagebögen von Teesha Moore, im Hintergrund habe ich Aquarellfarben, den Klimt-Schnörkel von Cherry Pie Art Stamps und goldene Sprenkel verwendet. Der Titel ist Cirque du Soleil, den ich liebe, weil die Shows so atemberaubend und fantastisch sind.
This ATC is my entry for Theme Thursday : Circus . The collagematerial is from Teesha Moore and the background is made with watercolors, the Klimt ornament stamp from Cherry Pie Art Stamps and golden sparkling. The title is Cirque du Soleil, I love this circus, because the shows are stunning and fantastic.

Wednesday Stamper : Metal

Mir fehlt momentan besonders unsere liebe Sonne und ihre wärmenden Strahlen. Ich freue mich, daß es nur noch gute zwei Wochen sind bis zur Tag-Nacht-Gleiche und dann geht es wieder aufwärts mit der Helligkeit !
Darum für den Mittwochsstempler : Metall ein ATC mit Blattgold und dem Titel "Unsere Sonne".
Die Bilder zeigen das Schimmern von dem Blattgold und dem Glimmer Mist Hintergrund leider gar nicht richtig.
I am missing our lovely sun and the warming light. Here in Berlin, Germany, we have the darkest day in two weeks and then there will be more minutes sunlight day by day again !
So I have made an ATC with the title "Our sun" for the Wednesday Stamper : metal with leaf gold.
The photos don't show the shimmering of the leaf gold and glimmer mist background, it's a pity.

Mixed Media Monday : Home Sweet Home

Hier ist ein Beitrag für Mixed Media Monday zum Thema Home Swet Home. Ich mag diese Photos von alten verwitterten Häusern, Fahrrädern, Autos und anderen Gegenständen. Besonders bei Häusern macht es natürlich neugierig, wer da mal gewohnt hat und unter welchen Umständen das Haus dann so endgültig verlassen wurde.
Here is my entry for Mixed Media Mondayswith the theme Home Sweet Home. I like the photos of old weathered houses, bikes, cars and other stuff. It makes me curious who was living there and which circumstances induced the leaving of the house.

Wednesday Stamper: Exotic places

Hier ist mein Beitrag zum Mittwochsstempler zum Thema "Exotische Orte".
Singapur ist ein wundervoller exotischer Ort. Hier überschneiden sich viele asiatische Kulturen und die Moderne. Es gibt z.B. ein indisches und ein chinesisches Viertel, indische, chinesische und buddhistische Tempel.
Hier ist ein Eintrag in meinem Journal: ich habe einige schöne Papiere, die Farben safrangelb und dunkelrot, Sanskritseiten, Stoffstücke, Stempel u.a. von Cherry Pie Art Stamps und Urlaubsphotos verwendet. Die Photos zeigen auch einige Kuriositäten, wie z.B. ein Verbotsschild im Bus, was zeigt, daß man keine Durian-Frucht im Bus transportieren darf. Die Durian riecht ganz entsetzlich und durchdringend.
Ich würde Singapur gerne wieder besuchen.
Singapore is a beautiful exotic place with a interesting crossover of many asiatic cultures and very modern city style. You can visit indian and chinese districts and indian, chinese or buddhistic temples.
An entry of my journal is shown. I have used some scraps, the colors saffron yellow and dark red, pages from a sanskrit book, fabric, stamps from Cherry Pie Art Stamps and some photos I have taken there. The photos are showing some funny things, too. e.g. a prohibition sign in busses which shows that transportation of durian fruits isn't allowed in the bus. The durian fruit smells very awful and pentrant.
I would be happy if I could travel to Singapore again.

Teddy Bären zum Festhalten

Diese kleinen Freunde sind genau richtig, wenn man in der Prüfung oder im Flugzeug beim Starten und Landen jemanden zum Festhalten braucht. Ich konnte gar nicht mehr aufhören, welche zu nähen, weil die doch so ausgesprochen freundlich drein schauen. Ihr findet die Bären in meinem Ideenwirbel daWanda Shop .

Weihnachtsdekoration und -geschenke

Ich habe ganz fleissig für den Verkauf auf dem Adventsbasar genäht : Weihnachtsbaumanhänger, Matrjoschkas, Cupcakes, Täschchen und geflügelte Herzen mit Original Tilda Baumwollstoffen.
Natürlich biete ich die Artikel auch in meinem daWanda Shop an.
I have sewn many things for selling at the adventbazar : chrismas tree decoration, matrjoschka dolls, cupcakes, little purses and hearts with wings. All of them are made in the scandinavian style with original Tilda fabrics.

4x4 cm cards

Diese drei 4x4 cm Kärtchen sind für Marion für einen Tausch bei Künstlerdecos. Ich habe ja eine Weile nicht mehr mit meinen Stempeln und Papier gearbeitet, sondern viel genäht. Das hat nun wieder richtig Spass gemacht. Marion hatte ihre 4x4 cm Kärtchen so schön auf einer gestempelten Karte untergebracht, daß ich mir gedacht habe, ich mache das genauso. Die Kärtchen sind mit schwarzen Photoecken auf der Postkarte befestigt. Die Titel der Kärtchen sind von oben nach unten : "Spass & Papier", "Regenmacher"und "Immobilienfond".
These three 4x4 cm (1 5/8 x 1 5/8 inch) cards are for Marion for a swap at Künstlerdecos group. I haven't work with rubber stamps and paper for while, because I have sewn in the last weeks more often. And I have had great fun with the cards. Marion fixed her cards at a stamped background and so I did the same. I put the cards with black small photo-fixers on the altered postcard. The titels of the cards are from the top to the bottom: "Joy & Paper", "Rainmaker" and "Real Estate Fund" and the corresponding texts at the cards are "It continues long", "Rain" and "Until the end".

Make-Up Bags & Snails

Ich habe einige Schminktäschchen und auch zwei Schnecken für meinen daWanda Shop genäht. Die Geisha und 50ties Motive auf den Taschen sind copyright-freie Bilder, die ich auf Baumwolle ausgedruckt habe und auf die Tasche mit einer Schicht Filz dazwischen appliziert habe. Bei den Geisha-Taschen habe ich noch chinesische Glücksanhänger an den Reißverschluß gehangen, die mir Martina aus Singapur mitgebracht hat.
I have finished some make-up bags and two snails for my daWanda Shop . The pictures are all copyright-free and printed on cotton. I have applicated them together with felt onto the bags. I have added chinese embellishments from Singapore to the zippers of the Geisha bags.

Collages Fairy Tales

Die Papiercollagen sind im DIN A5 Format und für ein Projekt der Ashazamis Group. Cynthia hat alte Buchdrucke, dessen Motive bei diesem Tausch alle verwenden. Ich habe die Bilder auf Photopapier ausgedruckt und coloriert. Das Thema meiner Collagen sind Märchen. Wir wollen aus den gleichgroßen Collagen Bücher machen.
These paper collages are in DIN A5 size. I have made them for an Ashazamis group project. Cynthia had these old book plates. And we all decided to use these motifs for this swap. I have printed them on photo paper and gave them color. My collages have the themes of fairy tales. We have the plan to make books from the resulting pages from all.

Fabric Collage "Chamäleon"

Diese textile Collage ist für Johanna. Sie ist ca. 25 x 40 cm groß. Die Wollfäden und Fasern sind mit Soluvlies zusammengenäht. Der Hintergrundstoff, die Borten und Bordüren sind selbstgefärbt. Das Chamäleon ist ein Ausdruck mit meinem Tintenstrahldrucker auf Stoff.
Ein Photo ist mit Blitz und eines im Tageslicht, aber das Original ist nicht richtig einzufangen im Photo.
I have made this collage for Johanna. The size is 25 x 40 cm. The fibres are sewn together with soluweb. The fabric and the laces are dyed with silk paint. The chameleon is a print on cotton I have made with my printer.

Berlin Inner City Aquatic Life

Ich arbeite zur Zeit an einer Serie von Taschen aus bemalten Segeltuch. Inspiriert hat mich dazu Alisa Burke .
Graffitis gehören stark zum Stadtbild von Berlin, genauso wie ein ganz spezielles Gefühl, wenn man sich unter den vielen geschäftigen Menschen hier bewegt oder sie beobachtet. Dieses Gefühl hat mich zu dem Titel der Serie geführt: Berlin Inner City Aquatic Life.
Die Handtaschen sind alle nach eigenen Schnitten genäht und jede erhält eine fortlaufende Nummer. Ich biete sie in meinem daWanda Shop zum Verkauf an.
I am making an edition of hand-bags and purses from acrylics painted canvas. I am inspired by the things from Alisa Burke .
You can see graffitis everywhere here in Berlin. And there is always a special feeling when you move between all the busy people or make your "observations". This gave me the title for my edition: Berlin Inner City Aquatic Life.
All hand-bags are sewn with own designed patterns and each will get a series number. I am selling them in my daWanda Shop .
